I couldn't help but wonder what Progressives must now be thinking about Pres. Obama. First, contrary to his promises, we're still in Iraq and Afghanistan. Now, even in a limited role, it appears we're going to be involved in Libya.

By the way, regarding our support of "The No Fly Zone." Keep in mind we flew a no-fly zone over Iraq for almost 10 years before we invaded the country. It had absolutely no effect on Saddam. He still remined securely in power.

NY Post Headline: "Prez Upstaged By Tough-Talking Hill." It appears Clinton beat President Obama to the punch on Libya, once again.

A political insider to The Daily that Hillary is tired of the president's dithering when it comes to the Middle East, especially concerning Libya in the last several weeks. "Obviously, she's not happy with dealing with a president who can't decide if today is Tuesday or Wednesday, who can't make his mind up...She's exhausted, tired," the insider told The Daily. {Source: NY Post}.

Headline in Foreign Policy Magazine: "European Governments 'Completely Puzzled' By U.S. Position on Libya."

And who claimed leadership of the new military coalition against Libya this week? France.

Memo to House Speaker John Boener: Yo, you're the Speaker of the House--so speak!

Have you noticed something about Republicans? They have zero public relations skills.

In my post yesterday, I wrote that too much attention has been paid to the problems with the nuclear facilities in Japan. After all, entire towns in Japan have been wiped out along with thousands of people. Well, the Japanese people are saying the same thing.

Another interesting phenomena--at least here in the U.S.--the media keeps airing stories whether our nuclear facilities can withstand a strong earthquake. Most of our facilities can. The problem in Japan was not the earthquake (and they keep having major aftershocks), the problem was the tsunami. And almost all of our facilities do not have to worry about tsunamis.

Memo to the White House: As we've said all along, the problem in the Middle East is not Israel. As one commentator remarked recently, "In the great Middle East whodunit, the verdict is in: The Jews are innocent..."

"Recession is Over News"--Unemployment has risen in almost every major metropolitan area in the U.S. {Source: USA Today)

And from our friends at The Onion: "Quick-Lube Shop Masters Electronic Record Keeping Six Years Before Medical Industry."
