Some Questions, Some Thoughts and Maybe Some Answers

I was wondering about a few things today. I don't have all the answers but perhaps you do.
  • Do people who wear Che T shirts know he was a cold, blooded killer?
  • Do you know, as of this year, we're closer to 2060 than 1960? How do you feel about that Boomers? It seems like it was just yesterday when I was flipping the peace sign to students walking up the hill to Alliance College's campus.
  • Has any president of the U.S. been involved in 3 wars at the same time? I know Teddy Roosevelt had us involved in several campaigns, but were they all at the same time? Need to do some fact checking on that one.
  • If President Obama was still a U.S. Senator would he support this Libyan operation? His track record as Senator indicates he would not.
  • Anyway, we really can't blame Pres. Obama for getting us into this war. He was in Rio at the time.
  • As several weeks have gone by, Pres. Obama plans a speech to the nation this Monday. Can't wait.
  • The Administration does not want to call this operation a "war." But what do you call an operation that uses military aircraft, missiles, and aircraft carriers?
  • There are now uprisings in Libya, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Yemen. But, guess what, few in Iraq. And Israel has nothing to do with any of it.
  • Yet, in the land between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River, Palestinians are still murdering Jews.
  • Did you know the Muslim Brotherhood appears to have taken the lead in Egypt? Many of us were warning of that possibility months ago.
  • The UK Telegraph is now reporting a Libyan rebel commander confessed that his fighters have links to Al-Qaeda. And we're sending them money and weapons, according to Sky News. I don't like the way this is starting to appear folks, do you?
  • Have you noticed that the waiting on line in Starbucks is starting to resemble waiting on line at the Post Office? {No, I don't drink their coffee. I think it sucks. I use their bathrooms}.
  • Newt, please, please---GO AWAY!
  • Are Republicans still in Washington? Just askin'. No particular reason.
  • Yo Republicans, you need to do more outreach to minorities. Don't expect them to come to you. You need to go to them. So get off your arses.
  • If you read my posts regularly, you know I rant about the lack of coverage of Christians being slaughtered around the world by Islamic fanatics. In addition to all the carnage towards Christians in many Muslim countries, did you know that in Ehiopia over 50 Christian churches have been destroyed or burned to the ground? In addition, many homes, a Christian school and orphanage met the same fate.
  • I still find it strange that the Administration tells Brazilian officials we want to help them with their oil drilling so we can be their customer while we keep major oil fields and wells here shut down.
  • By the way, Japan still has a mess on their hands.
  • Have you noticed how many--especially those on the Left side of the political aisle--want Americans to pay more in taxes? They often consider those making over $250k rich. I still can't get my mind around that one. The math just does not add up. MSNBC does regular rants on this subject. GE, who owns MSNBC, made $14 billion, over $5 in profit yet paid no taxes. Come on Chris and Ed, why no rants toward GE? Could it be because the CEO of GE is good friend of the President? Just sayin'.
  • I can't believe my NCAA brackets busted so darn quickly. Okay, now Kansas looks tough.
