Where is Romney?; Jobs Grow By Over 100,000 in August, but Hold The Applause; Suggestion 4 Wall Street Protesters; Even Geezer Hippies Not Impressed

Sarah Palin decided not to run which is good news for Palin haters, but bad news for the moose---Kimmel.
  • Might be hard to believe, but I don't watch much news on TV. However, I do have a question: Where the hell is Romney? I rarely see the guy anywhere. Maybe he doesn't even exist. Maybe all of this is an illusion.
  • Some very little good news with the economy. Jobs did grow by 103,000 but half of that gain were Verizon employees who returned from striking. And the unemployment rate is still at 9.1%. So that means, on average, each state created a whopping 1,000 jobs.
  • "Recession is Over News"---AP headline: "Housing Bust Worst Since Great Depression."
  • I have a suggestion for all the anti-Wall Street protesters. If you are really serious about getting rid of or controlling corporations, throw out all of you computers, IPads, IPhones, etc. Get rid of anything you own either created or sold by corporations. (by the way, if you do throw away all of your Apple stuff, you'll directly be responsible for getting almost 50,000 to lose their jobs. That's how many people work for Apple just in the United States).
  • And how come you folks are "selective" about what corporations and rich individuals you dislike. How come you never take Hollywood to task for their multimillion dollar salaries? (or the cost of going to the movies) And what about athletes? And what about those obscene tuition rates many of you are paying, leaving you with massive debt after graduation? Is it any wonder many observers perceive many of you as fake, phony and frauds?
  • Make no mistake: The White House is enabling these people from behind the scenes. Pres. Obama practically admitted it himself yesterday when he sympathized with them.
  • CBS News in NYC is reporting sanitation is becoming a problem with these protesters. With all of the Tea Party rallies in the last 2 years, I've never heard about sanitation being a problem.
  • In fact, several 1960's anti-war activists were interviewed yesterday, and asked about what they thought of these present day protesters. The geezer activists were not impressed. Not a good sign when some old, LSD ridden hippies even take you to task.
  • Regarding protesters, remember those London protests (or riots), London police reported in the Telegraph, "the average London rioter had 15 previous offenses on his record..."
  • When Pres. Obama took office, black unemployment was 12.6%; today it's just shy of 17%. And many more live in poverty today.
  • Quinnipiac Polling reports 64% disapprove of Obama's handling of the economy. 55% disapprove of his overall job performance. 49% say Romney would do a better job with the economy. 45% reported Perry would do better.
  • I love honesty in the media even though it's rare. Roger Ailes, FOX boss, said he did not hire Palin because she's a conservative. He said, "I hired Sarah Palin because she was hot and got good ratings."
  • For those who continue blaming Bush for the cost of war, you might want to know that Pres. Obama almost quadrupled the annual funding for the war in Afghanistan ($43.5  billion to $118.6 billion now)--- AP.
